SAP IBP OBP (Order Based Planning) / Time Series / Supply Planning – Solutions Lead

Location: Remote – California Based Client. 50% Travel to California required.

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), specifically in Order-Based Planning (OBP), Time Series Planning, and Supply Planning. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for planning transformation initiatives and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP solutions focused on OBP, Time Series, and Supply Planning.
Define solution architecture, integration points, and data flows across systems (IBP, ECC/S4, APO, etc.).
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand planning processes and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
Own functional and technical design documents, ensuring alignment with best practices and project goals.
Provide guidance on SAP best practices in supply chain planning, forecasting, and optimization.
Support UAT, training, and deployment activities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP innovations, tools, and best practices in the IBP and Supply Chain domain.

11+ years of overall experience in SAP Supply Chain modules.
5+ years of experience with SAP IBP with a strong focus on OBP and Time Series Planning.
Strong understanding of supply planning processes, heuristics, and optimizer functionalities.
Experience integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, and third-party systems.
Knowledge of CPI-DS for data integration between IBP and source systems.
Proven experience in leading workshops, blueprinting, and solution architecture design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
