Give voice to Duolingo’s features and functionality.
As a senior-level product writer, you’ll drive the messaging, content strategy, and naming for experiences on Duolingo, landing on pithy turns of phrase that land with our learners.
You and your teammates will design new pathways to content, make existing features better, and craft fun, new ways for our learners to unlock knowledge.
You’ll work with autonomy, focusing on a few projects at a time and driving their content strategy forward. If you like running experiments and sharing insights so your wins can have a greater impact, this is a good role for you. No “sprinkling copy magic” here.
This role reports to the Head of Product Writing. We sit within the Design org, the instrumental creative partner in most projects at Duolingo. At Duolingo, we take pride in making learning fun and effective for everyone, and your work will play a role in helping us achieve our mission!

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.
This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
Salary Range:
$127,500—$258,000 USD
