REMOTE, DAYSHIFTJOB DESCRIPTION: Virtual Assistant - Bookkeeping with Administrative AssistanceWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Bookkeeper with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting
principles and a proven track record in using XERO software. This role will be responsible for handling various bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into the XERO accounting system.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculating taxes and
- deductions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
- RequirementsQualifications and Skills
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO.
- Familiar with Australia accounting
- Good communication skills
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
