Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Retail Leasing Manager / Director to oversee leasing activities for a 7-10 asset retail portfolio in the Seattle / PNW region. This role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing leases with high-quality tenants while maximizing occupancy and revenue. The ideal candidate has strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of executing leasing strategies that enhance property value.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
- Identify target tenants that align with the property’s positioning and market demand.
- Cultivate relationships with national, regional, and local retailers to generate leasing opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential tenants and emerging retail trends.
- Monitor market conditions, rental rates, and competitor properties to adjust leasing strategies.
- Work with property management and marketing teams to enhance tenant mix and shopping center appeal.
- Qualifications:
- 3+ years of retail leasing experience, preferably with a commercial real estate firm or retail landlord.
- Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.
- Excellent understanding of lease structures, CAM charges, and retail tenant requirements.
