Motion Recruitment is a fast-growing real estate technology startup seeking a Fractional CTO to provide senior-level technical leadership and strategic guidance during their growth phase. The role involves a balance of hands-on engineering and leadership, focusing on shaping the product and engineering organization as the company scales.
- Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the company’s technical vision and roadmap
- Guide architecture decisions across frontend, infrastructure, and tooling
- Advise on AI agents, automation, and platform scalability
- Support and mentor engineering leadership
- Evaluate and oversee third-party vendors and production houses
- Partner with founders on technical strategy, hiring, and risk management
- Provide pragmatic guidance rather than heavy bureaucracy
- Skills

- Previous CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technical leadership experience
- Strong familiarity with modern TypeScript/React ecosystems
- Experience scaling multi-product platforms and distributed teams
- Comfortable working asynchronously with periodic live collaboration
- Startup-savvy and outcome-oriented
