Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Temu is an e-commerce platform that connects consumers with millions of merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands. They are seeking a Legal Counsel, Trade and Customs to develop their U.S. trade and customs legal capabilities, focusing on customs brokerage engagement and import compliance.
- Responsibilities
- Advise on U.S. and global trade regulations, including customs valuation, tariff classification, and other import-related issues
- Support internal teams—logistics, customs—on compliance policies, audits, and regulatory inquiries
- Draft and review trade-related agreements, filings, and guidance; manage and liaise with outside counsel
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact
- Skills
- 3+ years of legal experience in international trade, with experience in customs/import issues
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering with logistics teams
- Experience with custom/import issues in the e-commerce industry
