Sr ServiceNow QA Automation Engineer
W2 Only (NO C2C)
Note: This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local Deloitte office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable.

- Job DescriptionWe are seeking a ServiceNow testing professional with strong hands-on experience in Automated Test Framework (ATF), specifically building and maintaining UI-focused automated tests for ServiceNow Agent Workspace. This role partners with developers, product owners, and platform admins to improve release quality through automated regression coverage and modern testing practices.Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, execute, and maintain ServiceNow ATF test suites (smoke, regression, and end-to-end).
- Create and stabilize Agent Workspace UI automated tests, including workspace navigation, record interactions, forms, lists, related lists, tabs, and UI actions.
- Develop ATF coverage for workspace-specific experiences such as: o Agent Workspace configurations (forms, lists, views, UI policies, client scripts)o Record producer / catalog-driven flows surfaced in Workspaceo Interactions / cases / incidents and associated agent workflows
- Troubleshoot flaky tests by improving test design, selectors, test data setup, timing/waits, and environment readiness.
- Build reusable ATF test steps, test data strategies, and execution patterns aligned to release cadence.
- Integrate automated testing into delivery lifecycle (e.g., pre-deploy gates, post-deploy validation) and support CI/CD-driven releases where applicable.
- Collaborate with platform teams to ensure test environments, roles, and data are appropriate for repeatable automation.
- Produce testing artifacts: test strategy, test plans, traceability, execution results, defect reports, and automation coverage metrics. Required Qualifications / Skills
- Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow ATF in enterprise instances.
- Direct experience testing ServiceNow Agent Workspace UI using ATF (not only classic UI).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals: tables, forms, lists, ACLs, UI policies, client/server scripts, and update sets/application packaging.
- Experience with test data creation and management (repeatable automated runs).
- Ability to write clear test cases and translate user stories/acceptance criteria into automated tests.
- Strong defect triage and debugging skills (identifying platform vs config vs customization issues). Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with ServiceNow Test Management 2.0 (TM2) and linking manual-to-automated coverage.
- Experience validating Workspace-specific components (e.g., UI Builder-based experiences, configurable workspaces) where applicable.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CI/CD (ATF execution as part of pipelines), DevOps integrations, and release governance.
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) / Customer Service Management (CSM) / HR Service Delivery (HRSD) implementations using Agent Workspace.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS in relevant modules) are a plus.
