    Job Description:
  • The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining system lifecycle management, security, resiliency, and performance across production and non-production environments.
  • This role operates with minimal supervision and drives infrastructure improvements, architectural standardization, and capacity planning initiatives across the organization.
  • The engineer provides advanced technical support, leads disaster recovery planning and testing, addresses security vulnerabilities, and ensures the stability and optimization of enterprise infrastructure systems.
  • Requirement/Must Have:
  • Eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining technology infrastructure.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Experience managing and monitoring Exchange Server 2003 2016, Windows Server 2003 2016, and MCSE server infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies including Hyper-V, vSphere, Citrix, SQL, and Terminal Services.
  • Strong knowledge of VPN configuration and troubleshooting including Cisco, Palo Alto, OpenVPN, and IPSec.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies including antivirus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, and related tools.
  • Strong networking knowledge including OSI model and TCP/IP.
  • Ability to design and support disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain systems lifecycle management, security, resiliency, and performance.
  • Drive lifecycle management and capacity planning initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead architectural improvements and standardization of networking, hardware, monitoring, and application infrastructure.
  • Provide third-tier on-site and remote technical support.
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Support remote access solutions including VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix, and Hyper-V.
  • Design disaster recovery solutions and lead planning and testing activities.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices as required.
  • Support organizational quality programs.
  • Travel as required and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Should Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related technology field preferred.
  • Technical institute certifications preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create comprehensive and accurate technical documentation and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet performance competencies.
  • Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and extensive related experience acceptable.
