Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager for a contractor assignment focused on oncology clinical trial matching. The role involves expert clinical data collection, reviewing trial eligibility criteria, and ensuring high-quality outputs in alignment with oncology standards of care.

    Responsibilities
  • Participate in expert clinical data collection and annotation activities focused on matching oncology patients to appropriate clinical trials
  • Review, validate, and provide physician-level input on oncology-related clinical content and trial eligibility criteria
  • Apply real-world clinical judgment to ensure high-quality outputs aligned with current oncology standards of care
  • Evaluate AI-assisted and agentic clinical tooling used in clinical trial matching workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams during onboarding, training, and ongoing quality review cycles
  • Provide structured feedback to refine clinical guidelines, evaluation rubrics, and AI tooling
  • Support the development of high-quality evaluation datasets used to assess AI performance in healthcare use cases
  • Ensure all annotations and evaluations meet medical accuracy, regulatory expectations, and ethical standards
    Skills
  • Board Certified Physician in Oncology (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, or related oncology subspecialty)
  • Certification via ABIM, ABR, or ABS pathways required
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license (verifiable via state medical board records)
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) listed in the NPPES registry
  • Must be actively practicing and have provided direct patient care within the past 12 months
  • Physician-level expertise required; attending physicians only
  • Must currently reside and practice within the United States
  • Strong clinical judgment with attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to provide clear, structured clinical feedback in a remote, collaborative environment
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and AI-assisted workflows
