- *Job Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Completing daily tasks related to check processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers at arenaflex Credit Union
- Coordinating return items with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working member cases/assignments and following guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Processing mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
- Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
- Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
- Communicating with vendors to process wire transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws
- Depositing check returns, reviewing member check returns on draft changes, processing member checks, affirming members for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
- *Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
- Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail

- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with hands-on experience or education
