A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Utilization Review Nurse (RN) -Remote bust must live in MST OR PST. The role would be working for a major healthcare company and has career growth potential. - Utilization Review Nurse Compensation
- The pay for this position is $40-$42 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- Utilization Review Nurse Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, standard business hours
- Utilization Review Nurse Responsibilities
- Perform concurrent reviews to determine medical necessity and appropriate level of care
- Evaluate inpatient services including acuity, resource utilization, and length of stay
- Contribute to discharge planning and care transitions
- Collaborate with providers, care management, and Medical Directors
- Document review findings in health management systems according to utilization management policies
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and internal guidelines
- Provide feedback to leadership regarding opportunities for care improvement
- Requirements
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 2–4 years of related experience
- 2+ years of acute care experience required
- RN license
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Experience with utilization management processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
