- Design, develop, optimize and deploy SSIS packages that integrate data from various sources into the company's databases and/or client extracts.
- Create, modify, and optimize SSRS reports to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on SSIS and SSRS functionalities.
- Document all development work and ensure that best practices are followed.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in SSIS/SSRS and implement them as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
- Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with other BI tools like Power BI.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure.
