They are seeking experienced Copyright/Trademark Plaintiffs’ Litigation Attorneys to represent major corporations and big brands in various federal districts. The role involves handling legal research, court filings, and litigation processes in intellectual property law.
- Responsibilities
- Review, file, manage, and prepare discovery; pleadings; motions; briefs; responses; and court filings of every kind, whatsoever, relating to copyright and trademark disputes
- Make in-person court appearances and oral arguments in ex parte or contested hearings
- Conduct document review for IP litigation matters, ensuring accuracy and completeness in discovery processes
- Research and analyze complex legal issues in IP law, providing clear written and oral recommendations
- Collaborate with litigation teams, in-house counsel, and external stakeholders to support case strategy and execution
- Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (preferably in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York; however, licensure in another state is permissible, as long as the attorney applicant is qualified to practice in the Federal District Courts in which the firm has litigation)
- 5-10 years of experience in copyright and trademark law, with a focus on litigation support and document review
- Demonstrated experience preparing and filing court documents in federal court
- Strong knowledge of IP litigation processes and case management systems
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet pressing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with large-scale document reviews and familiarity with ECF filing
- Background enforcement (litigation/disputes)
- Prior law firm and/or in-house experience in intellectual property law
