Job Description
Boutique interior design studio seeking a talented Interior Designer to collaborate on residential and select commercial projects (including restaurants).
This role is part-time to start, remote-friendly, with room to grow. Designers located in or near Phoenix are a plus for occasional site visits and installs, but location is not required.
I’m open to mid-level designers who are strong in sourcing and documentation, as well as more seasoned designers who may be capable of running projects independently.
- What I Need Most Right Now
- Strong furniture sourcing skills (residential + hospitality)
- Confidence specifying designer/trade vendors
- Understanding of durability, materials, and lead times
- Ability to build organized FF&E schedules
- Technical strength is essential:
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD (daily use)
- Capable of assembling clean, complete construction document sets
- Strong Photoshop skills (Illustrator a plus)
- Responsibilities May Include (Depending on experience level):
- Furniture sourcing and specification
- Vendor coordination and procurement tracking
- CAD drafting (plans, elevations, lighting, details)
- Organizing full construction drawing sets
- Client presentations
- For seasoned candidates: leading projects from concept through installation
- Ideal Qualities
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Independent and self-directed
- Strong design eye with practical execution skills
- Comfortable working remotely and meeting deadlines
