Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Securitize is a leader in tokenizing real-world assets and is seeking an Associate, Fund Accountant to support hedge fund and alternative investment clients. This role involves maintaining accurate records for open-end alternative investment vehicles and offers hands-on exposure to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

Creation and ongoing maintenance of portfolio investment master records
Processing of trades from centralized and decentralized exchanges
Reconciliation of cash, positions, and profit & loss (P&L) across multiple exchanges, wallets, and custodians
Valuation of investments across diverse asset classes
Recording of fund operating expenses
Reconciliation of operational bank accounts
Calculation of investor-level fees, including management and performance fees
Expertise in investor performance metrics, such as high-water marks, hurdle rates, and the crystallization of incentive fees
Preparation of financial statements and portfolio schedules

Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities
Excited to develop expertise in digital assets, crypto markets, and alternative investments
Client-service focused, responsive, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues
A collaborative team player who takes ownership of deliverables and values accuracy and accountability
Able to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining precision and consistency
Experience working in excel
1–3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or portfolio accounting
Exposure to hedge funds, crypto funds, or alternative investment vehicles
Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems, fund accounting software, or reconciliation tools
Experience supporting audits or NAV processes
