- Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, or in person to obtain information or relay updates
- Update records in Clio Grow and Clio Manage
- Open and close client files, ensuring proper transfer of records and payment processing
- File documents electronically with the court and manage court communications
- Draft legal forms, documents, and correspondence for attorney review
- Produce weekly and monthly reports as requested by attorneys
- Copy, scan, and file records; maintain electronic filing systems in Clio
- Schedule case events and maintain master calendar
- Proofread all prepared work before submission to attorneys or paralegals
- Enter deadlines and reminders into Clio and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Skills
- Experience working as a legal assistant
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills
- Software: Clio Grow, Clio Manage, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, Zoom, and GoTo Meeting
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or relevant professional certification preferred
- Experience with project management tasks is highly appreciated
