Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online Math Instructor to teach middle and high school students (Grades 6–12). This is a flexible, remote teaching opportunity where instructors can schedule both group classes and private 1-on-1 sessions based on their availability.
- Responsibilities
- Teach engaging online math lessons for students in Grades 6–12
- Lead small group classes and/or private tutoring sessions
- Prepare lesson materials and guide students in problem-solving and critical thinking
- Provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred)
- 3+ years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Experience teaching online using Zoom, Google Classroom, or Google Workspace
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred: A short demo teaching video
Pay
$30–$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling:
- After-school hours
- Evening classes
- Weekend availability is a plus
