Position Overview
As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you’ll provide administrative and clinical support to Salvo’s care team, ensuring smooth operations and timely communication with patients. You’ll manage documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR), triage patient messages, and schedule appointments—all while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a patient-first mindset.

- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups
- Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in EHR systems
- Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming member messages
- Ensure patient records are accurately entered and updated in EHR
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Provide general administrative support to care team and patients
- Manage patient tasks to ensure timely documentation and communication Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Virtual Medical Assistant, or administrative support role in a healthcare setting
- Strong familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, eCW, gGastro)
- Experience in message triaging, charting, or medical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile
