In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and performing various tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our food mart.   • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, making eye contact and offering assistance as needed
  • Represent arenaflex in a professional and courteous manner at all times, consistently maintaining a positive and respectful attitude when interacting with customers
  • Perform the Four Steps of Customer Service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and Mystery Shop reviews
  • Offer current promotional items to customers and provide information on credit card applications and other relevant services
  • Maintain a clean and visually appealing store environment, including stocking displays and coolers, ensuring prices are displayed correctly, and removing damaged and expired items
  • Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures
  • Perform various maintenance and cleanliness duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash and debris
  • Follow shift duties schedule and perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic aptitude and understanding of POS systems preferred
  • Some customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Adaptability, multi-tasking, and sound decision-making abilities required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Ability to work any shift, Sunday to Saturday, to support business needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work in a fast-paced environment
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Previous experience in retail or food service operations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software applications
  • Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, arms, and legs
