Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer feels valued and appreciated
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently on our POS register
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
- Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented in an attractive and inviting manner
- Assisting customers with propane needs, as required
- Working collaboratively with your team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Taking direction from your Supervisor and contributing to a positive and productive work environment
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A friendly, outgoing, and helpful attitude
- The ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- A willingness to take direction from your Supervisor and work collaboratively with your team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS system
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The physical demands of this role include:
- Constant standing
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continued use of fingers, arms, and hands
Working conditions may include:
- Indoor and outdoor environments in both hot and cold weather
- Possibly around chemicals and fuel/fuel fumes
- Assisting in stocking the cooler
