Position Overview
The Chief Strategic Advisor is a senior executive who provides high-level strategic guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors. This role focuses on long-term corporate strategy, business transformation, market positioning, and risk-informed decision-making. The Chief Strategic Advisor serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership, offering insights on complex business, financial, and regulatory challenges.
Role Focus: Strategic foresight, executive decision support, business growth advisory, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
1.Strategic Guidance
Provide actionable advice to the CEO and Board on corporate strategy, business expansion, and market positioning.
Conduct strategic assessments of emerging markets, competitor activity, and technology trends.
Support corporate planning, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
2.Decision Support
Analyze complex business problems and present actionable solutions.
Evaluate potential investments, partnerships, or new business lines.
Advise on risk and compliance considerations in strategic initiatives.
3.Executive Collaboration
Work closely with C-level executives to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and operational execution.
Serve as a sounding board for major decisions across departments and business units.
Mentor and coach senior management on strategic thinking and execution.
4.Board Advisory
Prepare and present strategic insights to the Board of Directors.
Facilitate high-level strategic discussions and decision-making sessions.
Assist in the creation of board materials, reports, and strategic presentations.
5.Market and Industry Analysis
Monitor global trends in finance, technology, and regulatory landscapes.
Provide competitive intelligence and strategic recommendations.
Evaluate market entry opportunities and expansion strategies.
6.Organizational Impact
Influence corporate culture toward a strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
Help align organizational priorities with long-term strategic goals.
Qualifications
Required
20+ years of executive-level experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, or corporate development.
Demonstrated experience advising CEOs, Boards, or senior executives.
Strong analytical, financial, and business judgment skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
Experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
Background in M&A, corporate strategy, or business transformation.
Advanced degrees (MBA, Finance, Economics, or related fields).
Established network with investors, regulators, or industry leaders.
