- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and profitability. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Business Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Pre-and post-examination of client programs, business initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing campaigns to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for business growth.
- Investigating the execution of various pilot projects while following a testing methodology (e.g., A/B Testing).
- Maintaining and updating required tools and software in accordance with business needs, such as BPM or Course Planning models.
- Identifying errors, irregularities, and gaps in reporting and processes, and providing solutions to address these issues.
- Proactively searching for patterns and trends in data to identify areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.
- Supporting the development and improvement of arenaflex tools and processes to drive business growth and profitability.
- Modeling business scenarios based on analyzed data and business needs/requirements.
- Providing ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed, and developing business case outlines.
- Any other related and assigned tasks.
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or estimation.
- Experience in management consulting or design thinking is highly desirable.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects and priorities.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong change management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects and tasks.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, macros, and SQL.
- Experience with statistical analysis using R or a similar tool.
- Familiarity with data mining and sales reporting tools, such as Edge Minder or similar software.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
- Functional understanding of sales, delivery, warehouse, and production processes.
- Project management or support experience.
