Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer with strong expertise in Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Python, and Hive. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms, along with strong programming and data engineering skills.
- Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Big Data technologies
- Strong experience with Hadoop, Spark, Python, and Hive
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala programming
- Knowledge of RDD API in Spark
- Experience with Oozie and Pig (Mandatory)
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling techniques
- Experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka
- Strong data engineering experience with AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting languages
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or R
- Additional Skills
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience working with large-scale data processing
- Good communication and collaboration skills
