Mélange is a cultural learning platform designed to help people better understand culture, identity, and relationships across different backgrounds.

We are looking for a Cultural Learning Course Designer to help design and write short educational courses that explore how culture shapes the way people communicate, connect, and understand one another.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching cultural topics, crafting engaging written content, and structuring ideas into clear learning experiences. You will help transform complex cultural and social concepts into thoughtful, accessible content for a global audience.

Design and write short educational courses focused on cultural understanding and human relationships
Structure courses into engaging lessons with a clear learning progression
Write warm, practical, and story-driven content that is accessible to a broad audience
Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, balanced, and culturally respectful
Brainstorm and propose new course ideas aligned with the mission of Mélange
Collaborate with the team to refine course structure, tone, and educational approach
Review and iterate on course content based on feedback

Strong writing and storytelling ability in English
Ability to communicate complex cultural or social ideas in a clear and engaging way
Strong research and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy
Ability to organise ideas into structured learning content
Interest in culture, society, and human relationships

Academic or professional background in communications, psychology, political science, cultural studies, literature, sociology, or related fields
Experience writing educational, editorial, or research-driven content
Familiarity with course design, curriculum development, or learning content
