Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategic Systems Inc is looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Consultant to support enterprise VDI deployments and Azure-based virtual desktop environments. The role involves deploying and configuring Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, managing images, and providing support for complex AVD issues.
- Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, application groups, and workspaces
- Manage golden images using Azure Image Builder or Packer
- Implement and troubleshoot FSLogix profile containers
- Support MSIX App Attach for application delivery
- Work with Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs), Entra ID, and Group Policy
- Automate deployments using ARM/Bicep templates
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex AVD issues
- Skills
- 4+ years of IT experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or VDI platforms (Citrix/VMware)
- Experience with FSLogix, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Azure networking
- AZ-140 certification preferred
