Role Title: Software Tester (Need Functional IE Tester)
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-time with Apexon
- Role Description:
- MUST have knowledge of MA, SNAP, TANF benefits program. SHOULD have knowledge of TOP and Finance process. Need a Functional IE Tester.
- Designing and executing test cases: Creating and running tests based on requirements and specifications.
- Identifying and documenting defects: Finding bugs and errors in the software and recording them for developers to address.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Working with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure smooth testing and problem resolution.
- Developing and executing test plans: Creating comprehensive plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Documenting and reporting defects, issues, and test results: Maintaining detailed records of findings and reporting them effectively.
- Performing regression testing: Ensuring new changes don't introduce unintended issues in existing functionalities.
- Analyzing system specifications: Understanding the requirements and specifications of the software.
- Identifying areas for improvement: Providing feedback to developers on areas that need improvement.
- Troubleshooting issues: Identifying and troubleshooting problems within the application.
- Contributing to process improvement: Suggesting improvements in testing methodologies and tools.
- Interacting with clients: Gathering requirements and ensuring software meets end-user expectations.
- Training and supporting junior testers: Mentoring and guiding junior testers.
- Required Skills:
- IE knowledge, Benefit Program knowledge. Software Testing, Test plan creation, Reviews
