About the position
We are seeking an experienced UPS Field Service Engineer to support commissioning, maintenance, and emergency service of mission-critical power systems. This role is home-based with regional travel to customer sites including data centers, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Commission, start up, maintain, and troubleshoot UPS systems and related equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
Troubleshoot to the component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs, and STS
Execute commissioning test procedures and complete detailed service reports
Develop and follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
Provide technical recommendations to improve system reliability

- Requirements
- 3–5+ years of critical power / UPS field service experience
- Strong component-level troubleshooting skills
- OEM factory training or significant experience with: Vertiv / Liebert / EmersonSchneider Electric / APC / MGEEaton / Powerware
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manufacturer documentation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
