- *Temporary Full-Time Opportunity**
We're seeking a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis for approximately 3-4 months. As a Temporary Representative, you'll work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. This temporary assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- *Responsibilities**
As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling incoming calls from patients and members to address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues
- Providing quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
- Resolving payment inquiries, updating billing information, and establishing payment plans
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient services needs
- Utilizing Epic EMR experience to navigate patient records and resolve issues
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve patient satisfaction
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically in Laboratory
- Experience registering patients and handling high-volume calls in a call center environment
- Epic EMR experience and data entry skills are highly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in a medical insurance setting, specifically with Laboratory billing
- High-volume call center experience and scheduler experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and data entry software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
