We're seeking an experienced Technical Customer Service Representative to join our EXL Premium Audit Division, working remotely from a home office in New York City. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, handling disputes and re-opens for large national customers, and driving business growth through your expertise and passion.

Our proprietary platform, combined with predictive modeling capabilities, enables us to predict policy misclassification, automatically assign audit methods, and use machine learning to continuously improve correlation and prediction accuracy.
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Technical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering customer service phone lines, managing calls, and documenting progress notes in customer files as applicable
- Notifying current auditors or branch managers concerning specific items
- Escalating to yourself and completing audits at the insured's request
- Completing premium audits for Property & Casualty commercial insurance policies, including Workers' Comp and General Liability
- Working directly with policyholders to obtain payroll and accounting record information and details about their business to apply correct classifications and exposure amounts
- Communicating with agents, brokers, and carriers as needed
- Managing inventory escalated to yourself to meet customer time service and quality requirements
- *Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Effective diplomatic oral and written communication skills
- Basic working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping practices
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle time-sensitive urgencies
- Customer service-focused, with experience working directly with the public via phone and email
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Detail-oriented and able to interpret information
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience working in commercial lines (Property & Casualty) insurance

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Base salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
- Bonus structure: Eligible for annual bonuses, based on performance
