- *Job Summary:**
We're looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for reading blueprints, performing accurate welds, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, long-term position working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, focused on the MIG and stick welding of heavy metal components and fabricated parts.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications
- Perform accurate welds using MIG and stick welding techniques
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's safety protocols and procedures
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- *Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year of welding experience (industrial/manufacturing preferred)
- Proficient in MIG and stick welding
- Able to read blueprints and follow safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in welding a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
