Job Description
I run a small construction company operating as a general contractor. I am looking for an experienced consultant who understands construction operations to review my current business structure and provide guidance on how to improve it.
The goal is to ensure the business is structured properly from both an operational and financial perspective before scaling further.
I am not necessarily looking for someone to build software systems or complex tools. What I need is a professional who can review my current plan and help identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas that need improvement.
Business Structure
The company operates as a general contracting business responsible for:
contracts
invoicing
collecting payments
insurance and licensing
financial management
legal responsibility for projects
Construction work itself may be performed by subcontractors or a project manager running the job.
In some cases, projects are run through the company while another individual manages the job execution. I want to ensure this structure is handled correctly from a financial and operational standpoint.
What I Need Help With
I would like a professional review of the following areas:
- Overall business structure
- Job profitability tracking

- Company fee / margin structure
- Financial tracking and job cost evaluation
