Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HRUCKUS is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in mission-critical healthcare staffing for the VA and DoD. They are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will focus on operational leadership, ensuring compliance and margin protection while scaling the organization to meet federal demands. Responsibilities • Architect the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for federal task orders, ensuring seamless onboarding, credentialing, and deployment • Establish 'Audit-Ready' standards for all invoicing, timekeeping, and personnel files to ensure 100% compliance with COR/COTR requirements • Serve as the escalation point for complex operational issues, ensuring rapid resolution and high customer satisfaction scores • Lead and mentor a remote team of Recruiters, Credentialing Specialists, and Operations Supervisors • Design and implement capacity models to ensure the 'bench' is staffed to meet surging federal demand without over-hiring • Drive a culture of accountability through measurable KPIs (Time-to-Fill, Credentialing Velocity, Gross Margin) • Partner with the CEO during the capture phase to validate pricing assumptions, staffing feasibility, and transition timelines • Lead the 'Day 1' mobilization for new contract awards, ensuring the infrastructure is in place to execute immediately upon award • Own the tech stack (ATS, HRIS, Timekeeping), driving integrations that automate manual admin work • Serve as the primary Compliance Officer regarding Service Contract Act (SCA), FAR clauses, and OSHA/Cal-OSHA requirements Skills • 10+ years of operational leadership experience • 5+ years specifically managing Federal Healthcare Staffing (VA/DoD experience is highly preferred) • Deep expertise in the Service Contract Act (SCA) and federal compliance frameworks • Proven track record of scaling remote teams and implementing operational systems (ATS/HRIS) • Bachelor's degree required • MBA or Master's in Healthcare Administration preferred Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) match • PTO Company Overview • Hruckus is a management consultancy that offers strategic sourcing, IT strategy, business case analysis and program management services.
