- Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of case files, discovery responses, medical records, QME reports, depositions, and other litigation-related documents
- Identify relevant facts, key issues, and case trends to support trial attorneys in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations
- Draft concise case summaries, document review notes, and recommendations for litigation strategy
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in internal case documentation and legal records
- Collaborate with trial representatives, paralegals, and managing attorneys to ensure timely and effective case preparation
- Assist in the preparation of exhibits, evidence binders, and supporting documentation for trial
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in handling client information
- Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing)
- 1–3+ years of legal experience; prior exposure to Workers’ Compensation law highly preferred
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with attorneys and staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
