Job Description
We are seeking an experienced international trade attorney admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) to draft and file a protective action under 28 U.S.C. ยง 1581(i). Our company has paid substantial "IEEPA duties" on imports from China following the 2025 Executive Orders. In light of the Supreme Court's decision in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump (Feb 20, 2026), we intend to seek a full refund of these duties plus interest. Responsibilities: Draft a Summons and Complaint modeled after recent filings (e.g., FedEx Logistics, Inc. v. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Case 1:26-cv-01150). Identify all relevant entries subject to IEEPA duties to ensure they are covered by the filing. Request that the CIT order CBP to reliquidate entries and provide refunds with interest. Requirements: Active admission to the U.S. Court of International Trade. Proven experience with Section 1581(i) "residual jurisdiction" filings. Familiarity with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) and CBP liquidation cycles. Apply tot his job
