The SAP RTR GL Analyst will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP General Ledger processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Responsibilities
- Analyzing business requirements
- Configuring SAP GL functionality
- Supporting end‑to‑end RTR processes such as period close, reconciliations, intercompany, and financial reporting
- Collaborating closely with finance teams, technical teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to design solutions
- Documenting functional specifications
- Supporting integration across modules such as AP, AR, AA, MM, and CO
- Supporting testing cycles
- Resolving system issues
- Ensuring data accuracy
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes and system performance
- Skills
- Hands‑on experience with SAP General Ledger configuration and RTR processes
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Understanding of integration points with AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and related modules
- Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis
- Experience with period‑end close activities and financial reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to data accuracy and process integrity
- Ability to collaborate with finance, technical teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree
