Job Description
We are looking for a skilled mobile app developer to build a discipline and accountability app that helps users follow through on personal commitments such as fitness, studying, and productivity through daily pacts, streak tracking, and accountability partnerships.
The initial focus is building a clean, scalable MVP with a strong habit-formation engine and simple accountability features.
The developer will work closely with the founder to implement the product design, core logic, and backend architecture required for a production-ready mobile application.
Scope of Work
1. User Onboarding
Email / Google / Apple authentication
Welcome screens explaining the product
Account creation and user profile setup
2. Pact (Commitment) System
Users create personal commitments called Pacts.
3. Daily Check-In System
Users complete their pacts each day.
4. Streak Tracking
The app tracks discipline streaks.
Consecutive completion tracking
Support custom frequency schedules
Reset streak on missed required day
Ignore non-scheduled days
5. Accountability Partner System
Users can connect with one partner for accountability.
6. Notifications
Push notifications for:
Pact reminders
Missed check-ins
Encouragement from accountability partners
7. Subscription System
The app will use a trial + subscription model.
