We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Wauwatosa, WI. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting arenaflex's products and services. This is a shared-multiple locations role, which means you will have the opportunity to work with customers and colleagues across multiple locations.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers in a retail store environment
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Promote arenaflex's products and services to customers, including paint, coatings, and related products
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on arenaflex's products and services
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service area
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or sales environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the paint or coatings industry
- Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
