As a Customer Service Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and contributing to the overall success of our stores. Your primary duties will include:
### Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Service:** + Assist customers in unloading merchandise from baskets+ Package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the store to their vehicles+ Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions about products and services
- **Stocking / Sanitation:** + Gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the store+ Maintain and stock bag areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment+ Return products to their proper locations, maintaining store inventory and accuracy+ Stock and stage bags, restock check stand supplies, and distribute Buddy Bucks to registers+ Perform cart and parts basket relocation, power-washing basket relocation for department setup, and red basket fill-up/retrieval+ Clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum check stand areas, Return Centers, and CCO areas to maintain store cleanliness and safety
### Qualifications
- **Essential Qualifications:** + Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire)+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency standards+ Ability to work with customers, staying attentive to their needs and providing exceptional service+ Ability to lift 55 lbs, and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs)
- **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous customer service experience in a retail or similar environment+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
### Skills and Competencies
- **Physical Demands:** + Frequently stand, walk, and reach at waist, grasp+ Occasionally reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, and perform fine motor movements+ Occasionally be exposed to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions
