Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience – Be the Face of arenaflex
- Greet every guest with a warm, genuine smile, establishing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they step through the door.
- Proactively engage customers and patients, offering knowledgeable assistance on products, services, and promotions.
- Resolve inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring each interaction ends with a satisfied and delighted guest.
- Model and mentor fellow team members on best‑practice customer service habits, including eye contact, active listening, and anticipatory assistance.
- Utilize arenaflex’s service traits—identifying needs, offering helpful suggestions, and following through until the customer is fully satisfied.
Operations – Efficient, Accurate, and Safe Transactions
- Operate assigned cash registers with precision, processing sales, returns, voids, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly, providing correct change and adhering to company asset‑protection protocols.
- Maintain clean, well‑stocked counters and shelves; perform regular inventory checks and merchandise pricing as directed by the Store Manager or Shift Leader.
- Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and sales stations in alignment with visual‑merchandising standards.
- Apply FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) methodology for consumable items, ensuring proper rotation of perishable goods.
- Assist with food‑safety compliance, separating raw from pre‑cooked items and following placement guidelines for meats and frozen products.
- Perform photo‑center duties, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and suggestive selling of photo accessories.
- Manage web‑order pick‑up operations—monitor orders, gather items, and deliver completed orders to waiting guests efficiently.
- Uphold store cleanliness, both interior and exterior, maintaining a tidy, organized, and safe shopping environment.
- Adhere to state and local regulations governing restricted merchandise such as alcohol and tobacco.
- Complete special assignments, projects, or ad‑hoc tasks as delegated by leadership, contributing to store success.
Training & Personal Development – Grow With arenaflex
- Participate actively in all scheduled training programs, both in‑store and corporate‑driven, to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and operational competence.
- Complete Performance‑Based Learning (PBL) modules and certifications as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English (required for all locations except Puerto Rico).
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate cash registers, point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, and basic store equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping people.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- At least six months of retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience working for arenaflex or a comparable retail chain.
- Familiarity with regulated product sales (e.g., alcohol, tobacco) and related compliance requirements.
- Experience with photo‑center services, digital imaging, or related technology.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanor.
