Junior Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the payroll process for employees (employment contracts and civil law contracts)
  • Assisting in payroll calculations and payroll documentation
  • Supporting the settlement of working time (overtime, vacations, sick leave)
  • Preparing payroll reports and summaries for internal use and clients
  • Assisting with preparing declarations and reports for ZUS, Tax Office (US), GUS and PFRON
  • Supporting communication with clients regarding payroll services
  • Monitoring changes in labor law and social security regulations
  • Participating in improving payroll processes within the organization
  • Supporting the payroll team in daily operational tasks

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll, HR administration, or a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of Polish labor law and social security regulations
  • Experience working with HR and payroll systems (e.g. CDN Optima or similar is a plus)
  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel
  • English at minimum B2 level (ability to communicate freely)
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good organizational skills

Nice to have

  • University degree or studies in progress (HR, Administration, Economics or similar)
  • Interest in developing a career in payroll and HR administration
  • Completed courses or training in HR and payroll
