- Serve as the executive national lead for multispecialty national accounts
- Develop and execute national account strategies focused on growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
- Establish and manage operational goals, performance metrics, budgets, and accountability standards
- Own national account budgetary and/or P&L responsibilities, including forecasting and financial analysis
- Identify and execute enterprise growth opportunities across McKesson’s portfolio of services and solutions
- Analyze external healthcare market trends, reimbursement dynamics, and provider consolidation impacts
- Operate effectively within a matrixed organization, influencing outcomes across multiple internal teams
- Represent McKesson with C‑suite and senior executive customers and at industry events
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing national account leadership team
- Drive consistent execution of strategic account planning and engagement models
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence
- Build strong internal partnerships across sales, operations, contracting, finance, and strategy
- Act as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor to key customers
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advance Degree preferred
- Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience
- 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, sales, or national account management
- Experience leading national or enterprise‑level healthcare accounts
- Proven success driving revenue growth and complex customer relationships
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L‑impacting initiatives and business case development
- Experience with healthcare distribution, services, technology, and/or GPO environments
- Deep understanding of multispecialty provider economics and care delivery models
- Executive presence with the ability to engage confidently with senior customer leadership
