- Responsibilities
- Perform detailed SEO audits and identify priority improvements for clients
- Create and update SEO strategies and roadmaps aligned with client goals
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis for content planning
- Guide content teams with brief creation, optimization recommendations, and review
- Support or manage Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization
- Collaborate with partners/vendors (e.g., content, link building, BoostAbility)
- Package and present monthly reports with insights and next steps
- Track performance using Google Analytics, GSC, Semrush, and other tools
- Stay current on SEO best practices, AI/automation tools, and algorithm updates
- Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals: on-page, technical, content, local
- Experience with Semrush, ScreamingFrog, Google Analytics, and GSC
- Ability to write clear, actionable SEO briefs and recommendations
- Comfort working directly with clients and explaining SEO in plain language
- Excellent task management, prioritization, and communication skills
- Preferred
- Familiarity with home builder or local service industry SEO
- Experience with AI-assisted SEO workflows
- Schema markup, Core Web Vitals, or GA4 configuration experience
- Understanding of GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI search
