About the position
As a Lead Advisor on our Wealth Management team, you'll provide comprehensive support to our high net worth clients ($2MM+) throughout their journey with us. Unlike traditional wealth management roles, this position is fully salaried with no commission structure or sales targets. Your performance will be evaluated on a balanced scorecard focused entirely on delivering world-class client experiences.
- Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional onboarding experiences for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to Wealthsimple
- Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's unique situation and goals
- Create custom investment proposals that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance
- Proactively service client accounts, anticipating needs before they arise
- Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, video, and in-person meetings
- Apply your financial expertise to complex client situations involving corporations, trusts, and estates
- Contribute your insights to improve our service offering and client experience
- Requirements
- CFP or IQFP designation required
- CIM or CFA designation required
- 8+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles, specifically working with HNW/UHNW clients
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service
- Strong financial planning and investment management knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Client-first mentality in all aspects of your work
- Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals
- Technology-minded with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance client experience
- Nice-to-haves
- Additional designations including FEA, TEP, CPA, etc are a significant asset
- Bilingual (English/French) capability is a significant asset
