Job Description
We’re looking for two full-time YouTube video editors to join our team for the LIV South Florida YouTube channel, a fast-growing real estate and relocation channel focused on luxury living in South Florida.
Each editor will be responsible for editing three long-form YouTube videos per month, with videos typically ranging from 15–25 minutes in length. This is consistent, long-term work for editors who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow a clear editing structure.
The videos are primarily talking-head style, and the goal is to turn raw footage into engaging, professional YouTube content that keeps viewers watching.
Editing responsibilities include:
- Clean jump cuts and strong pacing for viewer retention
- Subtle zooms and camera movement to keep the frame dynamic
- On-screen text and callouts
- Maps and location graphics
- Relevant B-roll and stock footage
- Light motion graphics and visual emphasis
- Background music and sound balancing
- Basic color correction and audio cleanup
Our editing style is modern, clean, and engaging — not flashy or gimmicky. The goal is polished storytelling that supports the content without distracting from it.
We provide:
- Detailed scripts and editing instructions
- Examples and brand style references
- B-roll resources and links
- Organized assets via Google Drive
- Feedback and revisions through Frame.io
Editors must be comfortable following instructions closely, communicating clearly, and meeting deadlines consistently. Attention to detail is extremely important.
Our editors typically complete one long-form video every 7–10 days, so the ability to work efficiently and stay on schedule is critical.
This is long-term work with steady monthly volume for editors who perform well and want to grow with the channel.
To apply:
Please include the following in your application:
- Links to two long-form YouTube videos (10+ minutes) that you personally edited
- The editing software you use
- A short answer to this question:
What are three things you would do to improve retention in a talking-head YouTube video?
To confirm that you’ve read this post carefully, please start your application with the word “Boca.”
Applications that do not follow these instructions will not be considered.
We’re looking for editors who want to become part of a professional YouTube production system and grow with the channel long-term.
