Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Midjourney AI Image Artist / Prompt Engineer to help create cinematic visuals for our horror storytelling videos.
This role involves generating consistent, atmospheric images using Midjourney that visually illustrate scenes from narrated horror stories. You will work closely with our video editor to produce images that match the tone, pacing, and narrative of each story.
The ideal candidate understands how to craft precise prompts that produce consistent characters, environments, and moods across multiple scenes, ensuring visual continuity throughout the video.
- Responsibilities
Generate high-quality Midjourney images based on scene descriptions from horror scripts
Create consistent characters, locations, and visual styles across multiple scenes
Design prompts that capture dark, cinematic, and eerie atmospheres
Work closely with the video editor to ensure images fit the pacing and structure of the video
Experiment with Midjourney parameters (seeds, styles, aspect ratios, etc.) to maintain visual consistency
Refine prompts to improve accuracy, realism, and storytelling clarity
- Requirements
Strong experience using Midjourney or similar AI image generation tools
Ability to craft detailed, structured prompts that produce reliable results
Strong visual storytelling instincts, particularly for horror or dark narrative content
Understanding of lighting, composition, cinematic framing, and mood
Ability to collaborate with editors and follow scene-by-scene production workflows
Experience maintaining character and style consistency across multiple generated images

Experience creating visuals for YouTube storytelling channels
Familiarity with horror aesthetics and cinematic visual language
Knowledge of image upscaling, editing, or post-processing workflows
