About World NGO Day
World NGO Day (27 February) is a globally recognized international day celebrating civil society across 190+ countries. Building on more than a decade of global participation and civic archives, World NGO Day is developing a new large-scale cultural initiative combining art, publishing, exhibitions, and public installations.
To guide this work, we are establishing the Global Council for World NGO Day - Cultural Initiatives, bringing together leaders from contemporary art, publishing and media.
Role Overview
The Museum & Biennale Curatorial Advisor (Volunteer Role) will provide strategic curatorial insight for a new cultural initiative emerging from the global archive of World NGO Day participation. The advisor will help shape the projectβs curatorial direction and support its positioning within the international contemporary art ecosystem, including exhibitions, institutional collaborations, and public cultural presentations.
The advisor will work closely with the Founder of World NGO Day, the leadership of Cultural Initiatives, and collaborate with fellow members of the Global Council.

- Engagement with museums, galleries, and biennales
- Strategic introductions within the art ecosystem when appropriate

Time Commitment
Volunteer advisory role.
Expected involvement includes:
- 3-4 advisory conversations annually
- Occasional strategic input when requested
