Job Description

We are a lean marketing agency that works with local service businesses (construction, home services, cleaning, landscaping, plumbing, exterior cleaning, electrical, specialty contractors). We are looking for a contract Meta / Facebook Ads specialist to build and manage simple, highly efficient lead generation campaigns that turn ad spend into real leads and real sales.

This is NOT a branding, awareness, or “boosted posts” role.

Our clients have small budgets, and return on marketing investment (ROMI) is critical.

Clients You’ll Work On

Examples of current clients include local service and contractor businesses such as residential and commercial construction, home builders and remodelers, electrical contractors, HVAC, specialty construction, landscaping, pressure washing, and sports facilities.

    What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Creating and managing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) lead generation campaigns
  • Campaigns may include lead forms, click-to-call, and website conversion campaigns depending on the client and offer
  • Audience targeting focused on local service areas and high-intent homeowners or decision-makers
  • Writing clear, direct ad copy that generates calls and form submissions
  • Basic creative direction (we don’t expect cinematic videos, but we do expect ads that convert)
  • Setting up and maintaining conversion tracking where applicable
  • Ongoing optimization to improve cost per lead and lead quality
  • Pausing, fixing, or restructuring campaigns that are not producing real leads

Landing Pages & Conversion Optimization

You should be comfortable creating and optimizing simple, conversion-focused landing pages for local service businesses. This includes basic page setup, testing headlines or offers, and making improvements based on performance. We are not looking for complex funnels or design-heavy pages, but pages that load fast, are clear, and turn clicks into real leads.

    Budgets & Expectations
  • Typical ad spend will be modest, often $500–$1,500 per month per client
  • We care about phone calls, form fills, booked jobs, and actual revenue
  • If ads are not producing results, we expect clear explanations and decisive action
  • Efficiency matters more than fancy dashboards

What We’re Looking For

    Required
  • Proven experience running Meta / Facebook ads for local service businesses
  • Comfortable working with small budgets
  • Strong understanding of local targeting, lead quality, high converting ad copy/creative, high converting landing pages
  • Focused on leads and sales, not vanity metrics like impressions or engagement
    Nice to Have
  • Experience with local service-based businesses (HVAC, roofing, contractors, home services, construction, pressure washing, etc)
  • Experience running Facebook lead forms that produce real follow-up opportunities
  • Ability to explain strategy and decisions clearly and simply
