Position Summary
We're hiring an experienced Accounting Project / Implementation Director to lead client onboarding and manage complex accounting projects. This role is ideal for a Controller-level professional who enjoys client interaction, team leadership, and technical accounting challenges.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding for new clients, including discovery, planning, and execution
- Host implementation meetings and serve as the primary client contact
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and team capacity
- Oversee and perform complex accounting tasks and special projects Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
- 3-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience of managing accounting professionals
- Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with multi-entity and fast-growing businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred); Netsuite or other systems a plus Skills & Attributes
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Strong communicator with a client-service mindset
- Collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring others
