Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Flourish and Thrive Labs is a woman-owned consulting firm specializing in public health solutions. They are seeking a Solutions Analyst who understands public health workflows and can translate that into effective technology solutions, particularly in environmental health programs. Responsibilities • Immerse yourself in client workflows to understand how public health staff actually do their work, with particular depth in environmental health programs • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities that clients may not have articulated • Synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into coherent solution recommendations • Translate complex public health processes into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Lead discovery sessions and workshops with health department staff • Serve as the voice of the client within our technical teams • Develop process flows, documentation, and visual aids that communicate the "why" behind solutions • Challenge assumptions and push back when proposed solutions don't fit client realities Skills • WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER WITH PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE (LOCAL/ TRIBAL/ STATE/ FEDERAL) • WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER WITH GOVERNMENT PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE, IDEALLY IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AT A LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT. IF YOU HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE, PLEASE ENSURE IT IS CLEAR ON YOUR RESUME • 2+ years working in governmental public health (local, state, federal, or tribal) • Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and workflows • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience translating between technical and non-technical audiences • Self-motivated with strong initiative • Adaptability in dynamic environments • Comfort working with AI tools and large language models • Direct experience in environmental health programs at a local health department (e.g., inspections, permitting, compliance, complaint response) • Experience with agile methodologies • Familiarity with user story development and acceptance criteria writing • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms • Background in process improvement or system implementation • Understanding of public health data systems and reporting requirements (e.g., environmental health tracking, inspection databases) • Experience with discovery techniques (journey mapping, interviews, observation) Benefits • We cover 100% of your health insurance!
