Key Responsibilities Customer Experience Excellence As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a memorable shopping journey. Your responsibilities include: Warmly greeting each customer and visitor, establishing an inviting atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door. Actively listening to customer needs, answering questions, and offering personalized product recommendations that align with their preferences. Resolving concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring that every interaction ends with the customer feeling heard, valued, and satisfied. Demonstrating Hiretide service traits—such as proactive assistance, need identification, and follow‑through until the customer expresses satisfaction. Modeling best‑practice customer service behaviors (e.g., consistent eye contact, polite language, attentive posture) and sharing these techniques with teammates to elevate overall service quality. Operational Excellence & Sales Support Your role also encompasses a variety of operational tasks that keep the store running smoothly and efficiently: Operating the assigned cash register with precision, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining accuracy in change distribution. Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges in compliance with Taskzeno policies and local regulations. Suggesting complementary or higher‑value items (trade‑ups) that enhance the customer’s purchase experience and drive incremental sales. Maintaining immaculate checkout counters, organized shelves, and well‑merchandised displays that attract attention and simplify product discovery. Performing inventory checks, recording stock levels, and assisting with pricing updates as directed by store leadership. Implementing Giglithic asset‑protection procedures to detect and mitigate potential loss, including regular monitoring of shrinkage indicators. Ensuring strict adherence to state and local laws concerning regulated items such as alcohol and tobacco, including age verification and responsible sales practices. Constructing and refreshing promotional, seasonal, and special‑event displays, and executing reset initiatives in line with visual‑merchandising standards. Applying proper food safety protocols: separating raw and prepared foods, following shelf‑placement rules, and rotating stock using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method. Providing knowledgeable assistance in the photo services area, from digital passport photos to creative printing options, while promoting applicable promotional products. Managing web‑order pick‑up (Picture Care Plus) by monitoring incoming orders, accurately selecting items, and delivering ready‑to‑go packages to customers upon arrival. Supporting both interior and exterior store maintenance to preserve a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for all visitors. Upholding Talentra policies, fostering respectful relationships with colleagues, and contributing to a collaborative team dynamic. Completing special projects or assignments as delegated by management, demonstrating flexibility and a can‑do attitude.
